Les Claypool and Sean Lennon Team with WILLOW for New Single “The Golden Egg of Empathy”

The Claypool Lennon Delirium have released the official animated video for their new single, “The Golden Egg of Empathy,” featuring WILLOW. The track appears on the forthcoming album The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy and finds Les Claypool and Sean Lennon diving headfirst back into their kaleidoscopic world.

The animated clip leans fully into the surreal spirit of the song, pairing vivid, otherworldly visuals with the band’s psych soaked arrangement. WILLOW’s vocal adds an airy contrast, floating over Lennon’s melodic framework while Claypool anchors the whole thing with a playful, rubbery bass line that keeps the track moving.

The duo also have a large tour on the horizon, bringing this new material to stages across the country. If this single is any indication, fans can expect plenty of adventurous grooves and left of center exploration when the band hits the road.
