Weezer and Scott Shriner Revisit “Island In The Sun” in an Intimate Amazon Music Session

Weezer recently shared a new performance from Amazon Music’s In The Paint, part of a special set tied to the NBA playoffs and a post game event that also featured songs like “Hash Pipe,” “Buddy Holly,” and “Say It Ain’t So.” The performance was originally streamed through Amazon with select songs now making the rounds online.

Bass players will be eyeing Scott Shriner, who shows up with a vintage Fender Precision Bass and his Emperor cabinets.  His tone is nice and round but still has plenty of clarity.  At about the halfway mark, Scott kics on some Overdrive to give everything a little push.
