Bass of the Week: Dingwall’s D-Roc Custom Euro Spec Roars With Burl-Topped Beauty

The Dingwall D-Roc Custom is one of their most striking models, and this Euro Spec version in a Matte Tiger Eye Burst finish proves it. Its African mahogany body has a natural flame maple contrast layer just below the striking maple burl top. As a “Euro-spec” model, it has a flat top to its modern body design.
“The D-Roc Custom is the modern evolution of a classic design, extremely well balanced, with virtually no neck dive,” Dingwall writes.
The bass is also built with a five-piece maple neck and wenge fingerboard marked by white pearloid Ellipse inlays and white pearloid side dots. Of course, it follows Dingwall’s multi-scale design that ranges from a 37-inch B-string to a 34-inch G string.
Other features include FD3 pickups, passive electronics, and black hardware.
