Bryan Beller Anchors Haken’s New Single, “In a Fever Dream”

Haken 2026 and Bryan Beller

UK-based prog-metal band Haken has returned with a new song called “in a fever dream,” marking their first new music in three years. It’s also the first release since the departure of guitarist Charlie Griffiths and longtime bassist Conner Green in January. Instead, the track is anchored by the mighty bass tone of Bryan Beller, who is known for his work with The Aristocrats, Dethklok, and Joe Satriani.

“Here’s a curveball – HAKEN just dropped a new single and I’m contributing on bass,” Beller wrote on Facebook. “Many thanks to all the Haken guys for having me on, and especially Ray Hearne and Richard Henshall for being a pleasure to work with directly.”

The band also brought on a producer for the first time with George Lever (Loathe, Sleep Token) to “help shape the next stage of the band.” Hear the direction and Beller’s bass line:

A press release states that Haken will return to the stage on September 27th to headline Euroblast Festival in Germany. It did not clarify who, if anyone, would be on bass.
