Vincen García Makes Ridiculous Bass Playing Look Easy in “Melatonina”

We have shared a lot of ridiculous bass playing over the years, but Vincen García always feels like he’s operating in a different universe.

His new live version of “Melatonina,” recorded in Buenos Aires, is packed with groove, chops, and the kind of playing that makes you question your own life choices. The band is locked in and García spends the whole performance reminding everyone why he’s become one of the most talked about bass players around right now. Yes, the tone is huge. He’s playing that purple Yamaha bass through an Ampeg rig, and everything sounds punchy, clean, and ridiculously smooth.

This one is worth watching, just be prepared to spend a few minutes wondering if you should practice more.
