Darkglass Anagram Gets NAM A2 Full Support in KosmOS 1.16 Update
Darkglass Electronics has launched KosmOS 1.16, a major operating system update for the Anagram bass modeling platform. The company states that the update was developed to enhance the unit’s functionality by expanding its digital architecture with new core modeling frameworks, vintage-inspired bass blocks, and optimized tools.
“At the center of the KosmOS 1.16 release is a strategic partnership with Tone3000, which brings full Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) Architecture 2 (A2) support directly to the Anagram platform,” Darkglass writes. “This update introduces three dedicated processing blocks—Neural Amp, Neural Pedal, and Neural Loader—allowing users to run up to three simultaneous instances of NAM A2 Full, A2 Lite, or A1 configurations. By integrating this architecture, players can directly import custom digital captures created by a global community of over 300,000 musicians and recording engineers, allowing the exact tonal characteristics of various physical amplifiers, pedals, and studio gear to be used anywhere.”
KosmOS 1.16 also introduces the Peggy Classic and Peggy Fliptop processing blocks, which emulate the modern and vintage amps. A new High-Pass and Low-Pass Filter block combines filtering controls into a single slot, allowing for more control at once. Other updates include a DSP Meters view, a Type Parameter Values feature, a Behaviour Device Settings feature, and more.
