Esperanza Spalding to Perform Songs From All Nine Albums on 2026 Tour

Esperanza Spalding is embarking on a tour of Europe and the U.S. this summer and fall. The bassist and vocalist will be joined by her longtime collaborators Matthew Stevens, Eric Doob, and Morgan Guerin. Together, they’ll perform songs from all nine of her albums.
“You know the deal: all this singing I do, all this bass playing, marvelous songs, ridiculously badass band…joyful and nourishing and imagination expanding music from downbeat to encore,” she wrote in an email.
Spalding and crew are beginning in Europe in Spain, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and Norway. Her stateside dates begin August 8th at Battery Park in New York City before hitting City Winery venues around the East and Midwest. In September, the tour rolls into the Southwest to wrap up on September 19th and 20th at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.
Her latest album, Milton + esperanza, came out in 2024. Spalding says a new album/project release is on the way with more details coming soon.
