Headrush Unveils FRFR-8 and FRFR-12 Powered Cabinets for Bass and Guitar

Headrush FRFR CAB Series

Headrush has introduced the FRFR CAB series, including the FRFR-8 and FRFR-12. FRFR stands for “Full Range, Flat Response,” meaning they cleanly deliver your signal without any coloration. The concept is to boost the sound you’ve already created from modeling or on your pedalboard. As such, the new units are built for both guitarists and bassists who “need a powerful and authentic platform to amplify their fine-tuned modeling pedal rig.”

The FRFR-8 features an 8-inch woofer and up to 480 watts of power, while the FRFR-12 bumps things up to a 12-inch woofer and 750 watts of power. Each also includes a 1-inch compression driver and 90° conical horn for projection.

“This cab doesn’t just sound great: with a closed-back golden-era amp look and feel down to the tweed grill cloth, this FRFR cabinet for live performance is suited up for your next gig,” Headrush writes. “A Baxandall 3-band EQ and variable hi-cut filter adapt your tone to the environment for accurate representation no matter the gig. Get show-ready in seconds with easy XLR and TRS inputs/outputs that can plug directly into the PA and even operate in stereo with another cab, and when it’s time to practice, tap the Bluetooth pairing button to stream tracks directly into your mix for a jam.”

The Headrush FRFR CAB Series models are available now for $399 and $499.
