Karina Rykman Leads the Charge on “Easy, Rider” for CBS Saturday Sessions
Karina Rykman released her second solo album, Late Checkout on September 25th. One day later, she and her band made their network television debut on CBS Saturday Morning.
Rykman appeared on the show’s “Saturday Sessions” with guitarist Adam November, drummer Chris Corsico, and keyboardist Pete Miller. The group performed three songs from the new album: “Shoegaze Summer,” “Late Checkout,” and “Easy, Rider.”
We featured “Easy, Rider” when it arrived as the album’s first single in June, when Kevin Johnson noted its thick, bass-driven groove. That groove is front and center in this live performance with Rykman leading the band.
