Lake Street Dive has a new album, What About Flamingos?, coming out on February 19, 2027. Anchored by bassist Bridget Kearney, the five-piece has announced a tour to support it.

The 15-date winter run will begin February 26th at Vibrant Music Hall in Waukee, Iowa. They’ll cover the Midwest and a bit of the South before heading up the East Coast into Canada for shows in Montreal and Toronto. They’ll drop back into the States to finish up on March 21st in Peoria, Illinois.

What About Flamingos? marks the band’s ninth full-length studio album. It came to the group in a moment of reflection and a realization of how precious their situation is. The album is tied together by a common thread of how lucky they are to be making music together.

It all comes together on the title track.

“This gratitude for what we have, and the magic of being alive infuses the entire album,” bassist Bridget Kearney said. “In a stream of consciousness, the first thing that came to mind was, what about flamingos.”

Kearney puts her Hofner to use on the song, reaching into the high register to bring an intimate texture to the down-tempo groove.

What About Flamingos? is out on February 19th. See below for the group’s tour dates.
