Meshuggah Unveil 40th Anniversary Tour With Testament and Blood Incantation

Swedish extreme metal icons Meshuggah have announced the “Forty-Year Anomaly Tour” to celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary. The North American dates span from February to May 2027, starting in Toronto and crossing the U.S. and Canada along the way.
Meshuggah will be joined by Testament and Blood Incantation, meaning bass fans will get to witness bassist Dick Lövgren, fretless monster Steve Di Giorgio, and Jeff Barrett all in one night.
The tour begins February 12th at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, dropping into the States by way of Michigan. After covering the Midwest, they’ll tackle the East Coast before flying to the Pacific Northwest. The tour will roll down the West Coast and across the South. Things wrap up with an appearance at the Milwaukee Metal Festival in Wisconsin on May 14th.
Meshuggah formed in 1987, and Lövgren has anchored the outfit for more than half of those forty years. He joined in 2004 and appears on every album from 2008’s obZen through 2022’s Immutable.
