Glockenklang Goes Lightweight with the Blue Soul Bass Amp
Glockenklang has released details on the Blue Soul, their new 650-watt Class D amp that weighs in at just 5 kg (approximately 11 pounds). With a focus on warmth and detail, the German amplification company says it rings clear as a bell.

The Blue Soul features a pair of switchable inputs, with a gain knob and a variable input trim for input B. The 5-band EQ is selectable, as well as the effects loop, which also offers effect gain controls. For connectivity, the amp includes a Tuner out, Headphones out, a DI, and an MP3 input for practice. A rack mounting kit is available.
The Glockenklang Blue Soul has a retail price of €1,434 (approximately $1,927 USD). The amp will be available in the UK starting mid-December and should make its appearance in the US starting in January. For more info, visit the Glockenklang website.
