Red Witch Unveils Zeus Bass Fuzz Suboctave Pedal
Red Witch Effects has unveiled their second bass-specific pedal called Zeus. The pedal features independent analog fuzz and suboctave effects with separate wet/dry mix controls for each.
The silicon fuzz comprises key features of the company’s Fuzz God II and has Fuzz and Sputter controls. Sputter acts as a gate on the circuit’s second transistor to give a “staccato-y” sound. It also has High Frequency rolloff switch and a Gain switch that reduces the amount of gain. Internal volume trimmers allow for further tweaking the master volume for each effect.
The Zeus’s octave and fuzz effects are engaged independently with their own footswitches. Each of their mix knobs allow for 100% clean or dirty blends with anything in between.
The Red Witch Zeus Bass Fuzz Suboctave pedal will be shipping this month with a street price around $299.
