Fender Updates Deluxe Series Basses
Fender has revamped their Deluxe series of instruments into a more cohesive lineup with a shared set of upgrades. The series includes new versions of the Deluxe Active Precision Bass Special, the Deluxe Active Jazz Bass, and the Deluxe Active Dimension Bass.
Each of the basses now has a 12-inch fingerboard radius, active/passive electronics, a hi-mass bridge, and vintage noiseless pickups. The Dimension bass is relatively unchanged, with the fingerboard radius being its main addition. It, along with the Jazz model, is also available in a 5-string version.
The new Fender Deluxe Series basses will be shipping soon with street prices of $799.99 for the Precision Special, $1,099.99 for the Deluxe Active Jazz, and $999.99 for the Deluxe Active Dimension.

Ok
I bet they’re trying to get down and get some of the business they’ve lost to sire
Crackin a grand for an MIM bass? Where does Fender draw the line? I’ve seen some of their previous $900 MIM axes on CL for $450 a year after release.
