Walrus Audio Introduces Monument Harmonic Tap Tremolo

Walrus Audio Monument Harmonic Tap TremoloWalrus Audio is now shipping the Monument tremolo. Named after and inspired by the Monument Valley, the pedal is described as “both a harmonic, and standard tremolo that produces a rich, luscious, warm pulsating modulation capable of peaks and valleys as smooth or as jagged as the real ones that our dear mother nature created long ago.”

Its controls include a tap tempo footswitch and a harmonic/standard operation switch as well as Rate, Depth, Division, Shape, and Volume knobs. The division knob can be set to quarter, triplet, eighth, and sixteenth notes while the shape knob toggles between sine, square, ramp, lumps, and Monument modes. Monument mode gives random wave shapes.

“A special feature on the Monument is the bypass switch also has a momentary function,” Walrus writes. “When the switch is in off position, press and hold to temporarily activate the effect to add a moment of texture. Releasing the switch turns the effect off.”

The Walrus Audio Monument Harmonic Tap Tremolo is available for order now at $249.
