Korg Unveils Bass-Specific Clip-On Tuner

Korg AW-LT100B Clip-on Bass TunerClip-on tuners are notorious for being iffy on the bass, but now Korg has released one specifically for us. The AW-LT100B is a clip-on tuner dedicated to bass instruments with enhanced sensitivity for detecting the low-frequency range.

“It uses a chromatic mode with dedicated circuitry that boosts the detection sensitivity in the ultra-low range below 100 Hz,” Korg explains. “The capability of this tuner is particularly apparent when tuning the 5-string or 6-string basses for which stable tuning has been difficult until now.”

The AW-LT100B is powered by a single AAA battery, which offers approximately 100 hours of operation. It has regular, strobe, and half-strobe display modes with a frequency range of E0 (20.60 Hz) to C5 (523.3 Hz). It can be calibrated between 436 Hz and 445 Hz in 1 Hz steps.

Korg’s AW-LT100B Clip-on Bass Tuner will be available in July with a price between $19.99 and $24.99.
