Aston Barrett Jr. Leads The Wailers on Extensive 2026 U.S. Tour

After a tour of Europe, the Wailers are about to embark on an extensive U.S. run that will take them from coast to coast. The outing will continue the band’s “50 Years of Positive Vibrations” Tour, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of Rastaman Vibration with highlights from the album.
“Released in 1976, Rastaman Vibration was a pivotal album that carried reggae’s message of resistance, spirituality, and hope onto the global stage,” the band shares. “Songs like ‘Positive Vibration,’ ‘Roots, Rock, Reggae,’ and ‘War’ remain as relevant today as ever — powerful expressions of music as both a cultural force and a call for unity.”
“From Colorado to California and across the country to the East Coast, we’re bringing the music, the legacy, and the spirit of reggae to shows throughout August and September,” they added on Facebook.
The Wailers are led by bassist Aston Barrett Jr., the son of Aston “Familyman” Barrett, who passed in 2024. The younger Barrett had been touring alongside his father for years and clearly brings authenticity to classic hits like “Stir It Up,” “Jammin’,” and many more.
In addition to songs from Rastaman Vibration, they’ll be performing songs from their recent albums One World and Evolution as well as select hits from their discography with Bob Marley. Get in the groove with this full concert of the band celebrating the 30th anniversary of Natural Mystic.
