Trickfish Amplification Now Shipping the Bullhead .5K Bass Amp

After announcing the amp at NAMM this year, Trickfish Amplification is now shipping the Bullhead .5K bass amp. The straight-ahead unit features a Mike Pope low noise preamp matched to a Class D power amplifier that dishes out 500 watts at 8 ohms or 700 watts at 4 ohms.
Its EQ section is flush with four bands with two selectable frequencies for each knob. The input section has a Hi/Lo switch for active or passive basses, while the output has a mute switch. Other features include an aux input, a Pre/Post Balanced DI Output, a Parallel EFX loop, convection cooling and a Neutrik Speakon combi-connector. The whole unit weighs in at six pounds.
The Trickfish Bullhead .5K is housed in an aluminum chassis with a Deep Sea Blue matte finish. It’s shipping now for $799.
