Fodera and Trickfish haved teamed up for a new tool for bassists called the Fodera X Trickfish Preamp & Practice Amp. The pedal was designed to “give players that Fodera tone and feel anywhere — and with any bass,” Fodera writes.

“We took the clean, musical preamp circuitry that Trickfish is known for, and paired it with tone shaping inspired by Fodera’s handmade instruments,” they add. “So you get that warm, articulate response Fodera players love — and the studio-grade clarity Trickfish is known for — all in one small box.”

The unit has a four-band EQ that can be switched to run as 2, 3, or 4-band, depending on your needs. It offers a headphone output and an aux-in for play-alongs, while the DI allows for recording situations.

Joey Lauricella from Fodera gave No Treble CEO Jody Miller the rundown of the collaboration at NAMM.

The Fodera X Trickfish Preamp & Practice Amp is shipping now for $750.
