Ernie Ball Music Man Unveils Ball Family Reserve Fretless StingRay

Ernie Ball Music Man revealed the latest in their monthly Ball Family Reserve series, including a Fretless StingRay. The bass comes in a Vintage Sierra Burst over its swamp ash body, but the most attention-grabbing aspect is its highly figured roasted maple neck and fingerboard. With no lines or inlays, the fingerboard is a clean canvas for the quilting.
EBMM fits the body with a neodymium humbucker matched with an active 3-band EQ. Other features include a Vintage Music Man Top Load bridge, custom tuners, and 1.75″ compensated Melamine nut.
As part of the Ball Family Reserve, the Fretless StingRay Vintage Sierra Burst comes in a limited edition of only 106 basses. It is available from select dealers for $2,499.
