Fender Japan Announces Limited Run Elemental Series

Fender Japan has unveiled the Elemental Series, calling it a line that considers the demands of modern players to balance specs and pricing. It includes one bass, the Elemental Jazz Bass.
Available in Stone Black or Nimbus White, the limited series instrument is built with an arch-shaped alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. A new pickguard shape helps it stick out from standard Jazz models.
Its pickup set includes two Modern Modified humbuckers that are paired to an active preamp with treble and bass boost knobs. Other features include a 12-inch fingerboard radius, a compound “C” to “D” neck profile, vintage style tuners, and a four-saddle HiMass vintage bridge.
The Fender Made in Japan Elemental Jazz Bass is exclusive to the Japanese market and will have a price point of approximately $1,244.
