Lyle Lovett And His Large Band, With Leland Sklar, Announce Summer Tour
After wrapping up a tour with his Acoustic Group last month, Lyle Lovett has confirmed a coast-to-coast summer tour with his Large Band. Just like the pared down ensemble, the Large Group is anchored by bass legend Leland Sklar, who has been working with the singer/songwriter since the ’80s.
The tour kicks off on June 16th in Newport, Kentucky, before hitting the Midwest and heading all the way to California. They’ll cover the West Coast through most of July before jumping back to the East Coast, ultimately ending on August 15th in Knoxville, Tennessee.
