Dave Brubeck: Time Out, 50th anniversary

The legendary album by The Dave Brubeck Quartet, Time Out, will be re-released in celebration of its 50th anniversary, on May 26th, 2009.

This album features the bass talents of Eugene Wright who in addition to Brubeck, performed with jazz legends Charlie Parker, Billie Holiday, and Carmen McRae. His solid rhythm compliments the drumming of Joe Morello, bringing the tightness of the group closer and helped make this album the favorite of millions.

This special edition is a three disc set that includes a DVD which features Dave Brubeck’s personal thoughts on Time Out, and an interactive piano demonstration.
