That was one of my favorite MM bass solos. I used to listen to that tune over and over just to get to his part.

GRP All Stars Live in Japan! The video stopped right before the slapping. Uh, Oh! is the title of the track. The whole album was Awesome. I had it when I was in College in’82.
I got a recording of this from a friend in 82 or so. I tought myself the whole solo. The beginning is missing.
