At NAMM 2026, Marcus Miller Turns the Sire Booth into a Groove Clinic

Marcus Miller stopped by the Sire booth at the NAMM Show 2026 and played Maputo. This performance is loose and relaxed, with Xavier Gordon on keys and Andrey Chmut on sax. They locked in fast and kept it moving while people crowded around the booth.. Marcus was on his signature Sire bass, sounding like Marcus. Solid pocket with the cleanest slap lines and smoothest grooves.

Worth mentioning, earlier that week he picked up a Lifetime Achievement Award from Bass Magazine at the awards show.

That’s NAMM. You walk by, and suddenly Marcus Miller is playing Maputo.
