Here’s a great studio clip of the Beatles during the Revolver recording sessions, performing “And Your Bird Can Sing”. In this “take 2” recording, it is all about the bass (with light drums) and singing, with plenty of laughter.

This is a happy reminder that The Beatles were a tight band, in more ways than one–in their music and in their friendship. I’ve always loved this song, being one who seems to have a special affection for the “lesser known” releases. But the best part of hearing it played here is the laughter. Thanks to Rachel and to YouTube for sharing it all.
