Stu Hamm Announces Collaborators for New Solo Album

Stu HammIn a recent Facebook status update from Stu Hamm, the rock legend revealed the names of the musicians who will be joining him on his upcoming solo album, Just Outside of Normal.

The list includes “[Joe] Satriani (2 tracks), Robert Fripp, Jude Gold and Frank Gambale on [guitar], Stanton Moore, John Mader and Alan Hertz on drums, Terrance Disley, Allison Lovejoy and John R Burr on keys, Alex Murzyn and Karl Theobald on sax, Bruce Hamm on Dhotar and Malika Aloui on vox…”

This will be Stu’s sixth solo album, following 2007’s Live Stu X2.

Stu added that the new album is “best thing I’ve ever done… best composing fer sher.”

In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast.
