Jaco Pastorius: Three Views Of A Secret
This video isn’t likely new for many of us, but always nice to watch… Jaco Pastorius and his Word of Mouth band performing “Three Views of a Secret” live in Japan in 1982. As time goes on, this is still one of my favorite compositions, if not the favorite.

I have a question. Did Jaco compose all of parts? I am told that at the time he met Joe Z. he couldn’t read music – well.

I don’t think so that Jaco could not read music. That’s the first time i heard of this. In my opinion all the parts are composed by Jaco.
