Iron Maiden is the focus of the newest Interview Sessions series of documentary-styled albums. The band, anchored by metal bass hero Steve Harris, is examined on the disc through a collection of lengthy interviews with each member, with topics ranging from touring and music to their personal lives. The 8 tracks of contain 68 minutes of various question and answer sessions. With over 30 years of writing, recording and touring, we imagine they have a few things to say.
Iron Maiden came to fame in the 80s during the new wave of British heavy metal and has remained a top heavy metal act ever since. The track “El Dorado” from their latest studio album, The Final Frontier, has been nominated for a Grammy in the category of Best Heavy Metal Performance.
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast.
