Nedra has impressive resume, with a pro career spanning 25 years. She teaches bass at the Thelonius Monk Institute of Jazz, has performed with Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Higgins, Cedar Walton, Billy Childs, Karen Briggs, Ravi Coltrane, Alice Coltrane and others, and can be heard on film soundtracks for Menace to Society, Malcom X, Chick Peas, and Clockers.
