“3 of a Perfect Pair” Camp to Feature Tony Levin

Tony Levin will be part of the faculty at the “3 of a Perfect Pair” Music Camp, which will also feature fellow King Crimson allies Adrian Belew and Pat Mastelotto. The camp is open to all musicians (and non-musicians) and provides an opportunity for face-to-face interaction with the musicians including masterclasses, chats, and even bonfires. Levin, Belew, and Mastelotto will all be available to the campers and will dine with participants as well.
The “3 of a Perfect Pair” Camp will take place August 22-26 at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY. Registration is open now, and begins at $999 with the option to upgrade your accommodations.
Levin, who has been affiliated with King Crimson since 1981, is an expert bassist and stickist that has been featured on hundreds of albums with artists ranging from Peter Gabriel to Liquid Tension Experiment. If you have questions about the camp, he is running the camp’s Facebook page. He is also using the page to express his excitement for the event, writing, “Maybe I should bring the Funk Fingers to roast marshmallows!!”
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
