Furthur Announces U.S. Fall Tour

Furthur Furthur will be hitting the road again this Fall with a nationwide tour of the U.S. Rooted by Phil Lesh, the group is an offshoot of bassist’s former band The Grateful Dead, and also includes guitarist/vocalist Bob Weir. The two friends recruited bandmates for this latest project in 2009, and have been touring with it since.

Deadheads will be treated to their favorite jams at their finest, but not quite the same as from days of old.

“The more different it is from the last time we played a tune, the happier I am with it,” Lesh told the Messenger Post last year.

The iconic bassist, who turned 71 this year, doesn’t show signs of slowing down, adding that “They’re going to have to pry the bass out of my cold, dead fingers. I’m a musician. That’s what I do.”
