MakeMusic Releases Finale 2012
Finale 2012, the latest edition of MakeMusic’s music notation software, is now available. The updated program now includes ScoreManager – a tool designed to improve workflow by centralizing key functions like changing staff names, orders, transposition, clef and playback sounds.
Finale 2012 now supports Unicode text, allowing for use of all characters in your fonts, while also making it easier to create PDF files of your work. Teachers get a helping hand with the introduction of SmartMusic integration, Finale’s Exercise Wizard, and more education resources. Other upgrades to the software are additional Garritan sounds, new staff spacing tools, auto-detection of MIDI devices and more.
Finale 2012 is available now with a retail price of $600 and an Academic price of $350. For more info, visit the Finale website.
