Dirty Loops: Baby (Justin Bieber Cover, with Bass Awesomeness)
This one is blowing UP!
Dirty Loops has done it again. This time the Swedish trio has created a pumped-up version of Justin Bieber’s hit “Baby,” with an absolutely killing solo from bassist Henrik Linder at the 1:41 mark.
Dirty Loops has a reputation for taking pop songs we can’t stand and making them awesome. If you haven’t heard of them yet, check their covers of Circus and Just Dance.
In his time with No Treble, Kevin has met hundreds of amazing bassists and interviewed icons like Jack Casady, Victor Wooten, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and more. He's a gigging bassist performing jazz in Northern Virginia and bluegrass with The Plate Scrapers up and down the East Coast. Kevin appreciates all genres of music, from R&B to metal and everything in between. Connect with Kevin on Facebook and check his performance schedule on his website.
solo :O
DAYUM,… Well, I suck on bass.
Great, man!
Swedish band FYI :j
Now that solo is just dick-nasty!
That was awesome. Vox/keys dude channeling Lil Stevie. Bass = Awesome.
As much as I hate this song that solo was nice.
Man! You can tell they were having fun playing this one! I had fun listening to it.
I love this!
I’m soooo thankful the bassplayer is ugly. If he was that great on bass AND hot… I don’t know.
Way to console yourself there.
You CAN make roses out of shit.
What kind of bass is he playing? My screen resolution isn’t good enough to see.
Sick. Mtd bass?
+1 for MTD, at least according to the kind folks at Bass Player…
great playing, but doesn’t the “jazz reharm everything” mentality get a bit tired?
singer is amazing
It´s a mattissonbass series III 6-string Fatboy
Devin Hornby yeah, but there is good cause no all of them make a solo.
