Sandberg Introduces Electra Vs 4 Bass at Musikmesse

Lots of exciting things are showing up this year for Europe’s Musikmesse trade show, including the Sandberg Electra Vs 4. While the wood, routing, and varnish processes take place in Korea to keep prices down, the bass is assembled and checked for quality control at the company’s headquarters in Germany.

  1. What are the advantages in using one single magnet as opposed to split ones as seen in most traditional P-Pickups?

    • Hi Mike. As I know these PU’s seen in the VS4 are only a bit more compact version of a F.-Splitcoil – PU. The work the same, but need not that much place. They may look tiny, but have a massive sound.

  2. It remembers me a lot of the sting´s signature fender, but I prefer Sandberg for his quality / price ratio.

  3. Sandberg’s latest Elecktra launched at Musikmesse 2012.

  4. wow, that’s a great price point for a Sandberg. Now, if they could only get the California or the Bullet in the US for around that.
