Electro-Harmonix Adds Utility Pedals to Next Step Series

Electro-Harmonix Next Step Series Pedals

Electro-Harmonix has added to their Next Step Effects series with three new utility pedals. Similar to the rest of the line, the new volume, expression and pan pedals have no moving parts and feature a smooth rocking chassis to control the effect.

The Next Step Volume Pedal controls the volume of an instrument. Powered by either a 9V battery or a 9.6V AC adaptor, it features a buffered bypass output as well as a direct output with bypass level control.

The Expression Pedal offers control over control-voltage capable effects and instruments. It has a Range dial for increasing or decreasing the expression range from the pedal’s Heel setting. It also has a Reverse button to change the direction of the Expression pedal’s output. The Next Step Expression Pedal ships with a 1/4” TRS cable and a 9V battery, though it too can be powered with a 9.6V AC adaptor.

The Next Step Pan Pedal gives control over stereo imaging of an instrument and can be used to pan a single input into two, blend two inputs into one, or as a mono or stereo volume pedal.

The Electro-Harmonix Next Step Volume, Expression and Pan pedals are shipping now with street prices of around $88.20. For more info, check out the Electro-Harmonix website.
