Genz Benz Updates Cabinet Line with NX2 Series
Genz Benz has introduced the NX2 series of cabinets including the NX2-212T and NX2-112T. The new line follows up on the company’s NeoX cabinets, offering improvements like proprietary neodymium loudspeakers and a new cabinet design to add strength and reduce weight. Furthermore, they feature Dual Edge “X” porting, which Genz Benz explains helps to increase low-frequency support and projection.
Both new models have both Speakon and two 1/4? inputs, and the second 1/4? input can be used for daisy chaining two cabinets together. The NX2-212T is rated at 600 watts and sports a pair of 12? speakers aligned vertically for a smaller footprint. It also has “Edge-lift” handles and tilt-back casters for convenient travel. Weighing in at 31 pounds, the 300-watt NX2-112T has a single 12? speaker. Both cabinets have a custom tweeter with external level control.

I’ve got one of these beauties and I (and the band) love it. The 2 12″ drivers sound great and the lightweight cab is a dream to deal with in the smaller Cape Cod clubs where I play. Very happy.
Fender Bought out Genz Benz the NX2 cabinets there no longer manufacturing they are hard to come by. purchase one let me know
