Bass Player Live! 2012
Bass Player Magazine’s annual exhibition Bass Player Live! is set to take place October 20th and 21st at SIR Studios and the Key Club in Los Angeles, California. The event brings guest artists to present clinics and concerts as well as exhibits from bass-centric companies.
The highlight of weekend is the presentation of this year’s “Lifetime Achievement Award,” which will be awarded to Yes’ Chris Squire as well as the Wailers’ Aston “Family Man” Barrett.
Other special clinics include a sneak peak of the new Jaco Pastorius biopic by Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, a tribute to the memories of Donald “Duck” Dunn and Bob Babbitt, and an All-Star jam led by Steve Bailey.
Bass Player Live! is open to the public with tickets running $35 per day or $55 for both days. For more info, check out the event’s website.
