FLAG, featuring Chuck Dukowski, Announce Tour Dates
The Black Flag reunion group, simply known as FLAG, has announced a tour schedule for 2013, from May through September. The tour is based around several festivals, including Punk Rock Bowling, the Orion Music + More Festival, and Amnesia Rock Fest.
Not to be confused with the official Black Flag, FLAG consists of former Black Flag members Keith Morris, Dez Cadena, Bill Stevenson and bassist Chuck Dukowski as well as Descendents guitars Stephen Egerton. The group has also published a video of themselves performing the classic punk anthem “My War” as their first media release.
The song choice carries some significance for Dukowski; though he wrote it and it was one of Black Flag’s most famous songs, he was out of the band before they recorded it in the studio and is not featured on the original track. He obviously hasn’t lost his passion for playing, which is evident from the performance.
