Electro-Harmonix Introduces Next Step Crying Bass Wah/Fuzz

Electro-Harmonix Crying Bass Wah/Fuzz PedalElectro-Harmonix has expanded their Next Step series of pedals to the bass realm with the Crying Bass Wah/Fuzz. Similar to other Next Step effects, the pedal features no moving parts and uses a motion sensor to translate movement.

The pedal’s fuzz circuit adds distortion and harmonics to the signal and helps accentuate the wah effect. The pedal also has a 2nd-Order Low Pass Filter (LPF) fixed at 194Hz, which can be controlled to add more bottom end to the wah effect.

The EHX Crying Bass Wah/Fuzz has a buffered bypass and runs on either a 9V battery or a 9-volt AC adapter. It’s shipping soon with an expected street price around $97. For more info, check out the Electro-Harmonix website.
