Reverend Guitars Introduces Mercalli 4 Bass
Reverend Guitars used the NAMM Show this year as an opportunity to introduce a 4-string version of their Mercalli bass. The bass had previously only been available as a 5-string.
The Reverend Mercalli 4 is built with a korina body and a five-piece maple and walnut neck that’s finished in a satin amber. It comes with several options, including a rosewood or maple fretboard and the choice of three colors: Metallic Copper Fire, Violin Brown Burst Flame Maple, and Violin Brown.
Similar to the 5-string, the “4” is fitted with the company’s Thick Brick pickup in the bridge position and the Split Brick in the neck position. Its controls are Volume, Tone, and a pickup pan knob.
The Reverend Mercalli 4 will be available with a retail price of $1,079.

I love Reverends! I have a Brad Hauser 5 and a Rumblefish 4 and I will never oart with them! Great playing sounding basses. I would like to try one of these out though. :)
