Bass of the Week: KlangKraft Tiefdruck IV EMG
This week we take a look at the Klangkraft “Tiefdruck” IV EMG, a bass the company designed with modern rock and metal players in mind. The body features nice 3D body shaping for comfort with a matte black finish for aesthetic appeal.
The European-made bass is created with an ash body, hard rock maple neck, and an ebony fretboard that holds 24 frets plus a zero fret. In keeping with the jet black appearance, the bass has no fingerboard inlays. A key ingredient to the bass’s tone and part of where it gets its name is its EMG electronics, including a pair of EMG 35-DC pickups and passive EMG electronics.

I’d love to own the 5 string version of this.
Call it stereotypical, but I’m dead on for their target market and I love it.

I have got one and yes – this bass is just perfect! ;)
If I have to ask I cannot afford it.
However, beautiful designed instrument!
