Narcissus: Criss Cross

We’ve featured the solo work of bassist Huw Foster before, to rave reviews.

He shared another video with us – this time in a band setting. The band is Narcissus, and this video was recorded at their EFG London Jazz Festival performance last November.

Huw said that this tune, “Criss Cross” is “the most bass-centric tune… as it starts with a solo bass feature.”

We love that, and we now love this band, which also includes Peter Lee on piano/keyboards, Josh Arcoleo on sax, Tom Varrall on guitar and Ali Thynne on drums.
