Bergantino Introduces New NV610T Bass Cabinet
Bergantino Audio Systems has announced the NV610T “New Vintage” bass cabinet, which the company describes as a “sealed cabinet with a nod toward a vintage sound.” The model is an extension of the NV610 that adds a tweeter in addition to its six 10-inch speakers for a power rating of 750 watts RMS.
Its sealed design delivers a tighter and more immediate bass response, while the woofers employ ceramic magnets with vented pole pieces to add to the full low-end. The tweeter has its own level control and is matched with a custom phase-coherent crossover that extends the high end range to 12kHz. Turning the tweeter all the way off removes it from the circuit to further the cab’s old school vibe.
The Bergantino NV610T is built with baltic birch plywood with tilt-back casters, full-length amp glides, side-mounted recessed handles and a top-mounted recessed handle for easier loading in and out. It will begin shipping in April 2015 with a ProNet price of $1,499.
