Richie Goods’ “Three Rivers” All About Expression

Richie Goods and Nuclear Fusion: Three RiversBassist Richie Goods and Nuclear Fusion aren’t sticking with any one style on his latest album, Three Rivers.

“It’s finally me-not confined to any particular genre or style, but just free to express and play what I hear in my heart and spirit,” said Goods, the youngest person ever inducted into the Pittsburgh Jazz Hall of Fame.

Goods has recorded with a wide variety of artists from Lenny White, Milt Jackson, and the Manhattan Transfer to Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys and Common. He also tours with Grammy-winning trumpeter Chris Botti, who also appears on Three Rivers.

“Making this record was a labor of love and this ensemble of extraordinary musicians excite and electrify,” Goods said. “Three Rivers is an eclectic and moving musical experience. It’s me, getting back to my musical roots – unbound – unfettered – free. My hope is you will enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it.”
