EBS Introduces Magni 500 Bass Combo Series
EBS has taken their Reidmar amp design and built it into a new series of combo amps. The Magni 500 bass combo series features 210 and 115 models that incorporate an all-analog preamp with a lightweight power amp section.
Both the 210 and 115 configurations include a tweeter to fill out their range. Similar to the Reidmar head unit, the Magni 500 amps include a 4-band EQ with a sweepable mid frequency, a built-in compressor/limiter, and a Character switch to adjust the amp’s overall tonal characteristics.
The back panels have a balanced output complete with ground lift and pre/post EQ switches as well as an effects loop, an auxiliary line output, and a headphone output. For international players, they also have the option of running between 120 volts or 230 volts.
Each combo ships with a protective cover. They will be available later this year at a to-be-announced price.
