Aguilar Brings Full-Rig Feel to Tight Stages with the Tone Hammer 210 Combo

Aguilar TH210 Bass Combo

Aguilar has unveiled the Tone Hammer 210 Combo, a compact bass amp designed to deliver the performance and feel of a full rig to playing situations where space is limited.

“Built for working bassists, the Tone Hammer 210 Combo was not designed as a scaled-down solution,” a press release states. “Instead, Aguilar focused on the environments bassists actually work in—small to medium venues with tight stages, studio and Broadway pit settings where clarity and consistency are critical, and houses of worship where players often rely on in-ear monitoring and flexible direct outputs rather than stage volume.”

The Tone Hammer 210 features a vertically-oriented 2×10 cabinet loaded with two custom ceramic 10-inch speakers inspired by Aguilar’s DB series. The amplifier section is the 300-watt version of the second-generation Tone Hammer bass amp, You may notice it is physically separated from the enclosure. This, Aguilar explains, preserves internal volume and resonance so the cab can deliver its full performance.

The rear features dual XLR outputs for front-of-house and in-ear monitor routing as well as built-in cabinet impulse responses. A headphone output and auxiliary input round out the features.

The Aguilar Tone Hammer 210 Bass Combo Amp will be shipping in March. It’s open to pre-order now for $1,499.99.
