The Dead Weather Releases Third Album
Jack White’s band The Dead Weather has released its third full-length album, Dodge and Burn, with Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs, The Greenhornes, City and Colour) on bass.
Lawrence also has a special distinction on the album cover — he appears to have gained a sixth finger on his right hand. He’s a pretty unique guy. Watch him display his technique in this individualistic (and goofy) video, with a heaping helping of the track “Mile Markers”:
Dodge and Burn is available on CD, vinyl and as a digital download (iTunes and Amazon MP3).
Dodge and Burn Track List:
- I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)
- Buzzkill(er)
- Let Me Through
- Three Dollar Hat
- Lose The Right
- Rough Detective
- Open Up
- Be Still
- Mile Markers
- Cop and Go
- Too Bad
- Impossible Winner
Fascinating to hear the basslines without thee FX. I wonder if an Acoustic/Electric clean Album would but in the future?
Jack nice bass , sounds good both ways, band sounds excellent.
The 1970‘s & 80’s wohaken was pretty good.
