The Dead Weather Releases Third Album

The Dead Weather: Dodge and BurnJack White’s band The Dead Weather has released its third full-length album, Dodge and Burn, with Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs, The Greenhornes, City and Colour) on bass.

Lawrence also has a special distinction on the album cover — he appears to have gained a sixth finger on his right hand. He’s a pretty unique guy. Watch him display his technique in this individualistic (and goofy) video, with a heaping helping of the track “Mile Markers”:

Dodge and Burn is available on CD, vinyl and as a digital download (iTunes and Amazon MP3).

Dodge and Burn Track List:

  1. I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)
  2. Buzzkill(er)
  3. Let Me Through
  4. Three Dollar Hat
  5. Lose The Right
  6. Rough Detective
  7. Open Up
  8. Be Still

Fascinating to hear the basslines without thee FX. I wonder if an Acoustic/Electric clean Album would but in the future?
