Jacob Collier: PYT

Multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier is a freak of nature, so it figures that his cover of Michael Jackson’s classic “PYT” would be just as out there.

Collier – who arranged, performed, produced, filmed and edited the clip – included some off the wall bass licks and a thriller of a unison line with the keyboard.

  1. There’s something not quite right about the bass playing element in the video, the fills look sped up, which suggests he played them in slow, I recon probably worked out on keys first (great keys player btw). Sounds like I’m knocking the lad, but I actually think he’s super talented to be able to pull that all off regardless. ?

Really nice! Highly creative throughout. Lotta musical chops

Sounded good , but its time for something new in music reason is there’s no good music out there. Isn’t everyone burnt out on Miss Swift , Adele , hip hop /rap etc..
Music is about good songs and I’m not hearing it.

WoW… rather interesting. While not a fan of this rendition, young brother man is extremely talented. Some of his bass fills are just killer man. All and all, job well done!!!
