Ibanez Introduces Adam Nitti Signature ANB306 Bass

After launching the Adam Nitti Signature series last year, Ibanez introduced the ANB306 model. The bass is a production model of the ANB1006, carrying many of the same features at a lower price point.

“In terms of concept, you’re looking at somewhere from 80 to 90% of the specs from his custom shop bass to this bass,” says Ibanez’s Ken Youmans.

The neck-through, six-string bass is built with a five-piece maple purpleheart neck with ash body wings. Its body top is quilted maple finished in a deep blue, which is accented by a purpleheart fretboard inlaid with abalone ovals. It has 24 medium frets with Ibanez’s premium fret edge treatment.

The pickups are a pair of Bartolini’s passive, quad-coil xxM56C’s matched to a NTMB+F ANB custom preamp. Controls include Volume, Balance, Bass, Treble, Mid, and a 3-way mid-frequency selector. Finally, the bass is fitted with a Hipshot A-style bridge with 18mm string spacing.

The Ibanez Adam Nitti Signature ANB306 will be available soon with a MSRP of $3,066.
